About

Thank you for being here.  My name is Natalia Carrasco and I am fascinated with creative business models used for good. I come from a beautiful country, Bolivia, that is immensely rich in culture and human capital, yet very challenged economically. I have seen first hand how socially responsible businesses can make a huge difference in their communities and I'm now exploring how conscious fashion and design can have an impact around the world.

This blog will cover companies, products, initiatives and ideas that utilize technology and business to contribute to progress in one way or another.

Expect: Start-ups with a mission. People with a vision. Products with a story. Fashion with a heart. And a random thought here and there as I explore the intersection of strategy, fashion, and social good.

About me: I see social enterprises from the eyes of a Bolivian citizen of the world, an MBA, an entrepreneur, a former dancer and an eternal shoe-lover. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have left pieces of my heart in Brazil, upstate New York, New York City, Washington DC, La Paz and Cochabamba, Bolivia.

I love meeting new people, specially if they also love to talk about business used for good or if they send me links to funny videos on YouTube. Either way, feel free to email me at: natcarrasco at gmail dot com or follow me on twitter.

  1. Hi Natalia,
    My name is Mark.
I noticed that you tweeted one of my favorite articles "Here Are 5 Ways to Achieve a Positive State of Mind" at entrepreneur.
That is such a great post.
I was hearing from my readers that they wanted something more in depth about the topic so I went ahead and created this post: http://wp.me/p6bNAS-K

It discusses how to get positive thinking to work (it’s actually based on a treatment for phobia!)

If you have time I’d love for you to check it out, and if you like it, it would be awesome if you could share it or maybe leave a comment.
    Thanks!
